Well, I think we all feared this day would eventually come. Earlier this evening another chapter in the so-called "war on terrorism" began. The U.S. military launched what the Pentagon is referring to as a "decapitation attack" in an effort to take out Saddam. Tomahawk cruise missiles and stealth fighters were used in the attack. About half an hour ago, Saddam thumbed his nose at the Pentagon by having a press conference as if to say, "nah, nah, you missed me" and called us infidels.
Judy and I are still trying to figure out what this war is really all about. Can anyone clue me in?
